DESCRIPTION: Responsible for managing and maintaining all e-commerce development projects for Beretta U.S.A. Corp. Responsible for all aspects of company e-commerce internet operations to include: B2C and B2B for meeting the sales objectives of the Channel Marketing Division.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Work with business management to identify, define and prioritize web development, enhancement and maintenance activities. Maximize e-Commerce sales opportunities through cross marketing between B2C and e-Commerce web sites, as well as through analysis of existing traffic to maximize sales. Ensure that company retail sales budgets are achieved. Manage the company’s e-mail promotional software and develop/transmit targeted e-mail campaigns. Create targeted e-mail campaigns from the company’s customer databases. Manage all assigned Internet development projects to include developing statements of work and analyzing service provider proposals, issuing task orders, prioritizing deliverables, estimating timetables and budget requirements and monitoring project status and execution. Act as project lead when necessary. Oversee system testing and manage production prioritization process for business owners. Make recommendations on web-based solutions for marketing and operational projects and processes. Resolve Internet related technical problems as necessary. Articulate technical information to business contracts. Lead evaluation and selection of web-related hardware and software products and services. Document technical processes and systems. Coordinate with MIS Manager for internal resources to support Internet efforts. Manage site content through interaction with key company stakeholders to ensure fresh and updated content, ease of navigation, continuity in message and adherence to branding protocol and company objectives. Analyze web reports (usage and performance) and make recommendations as appropriate. Plan and execute a departmental budget.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Conduct strategic planning for the ProShop and Firearm Accessory portfolios to include 3 year growth plans, strategic product line expansion plans and other planning to support the BUSA strategic plan. Balance customer requirements with inventory budgetary requirements. Provide operational management for all ProShop items to include obtaining product data and pricing, ensuring that the information is loaded into the appropriate systems, initial ordering, replenishment, determination of obsolescence, and disposal of obsolete product. Monitor both demand and inventory for current ProShop items to optimize inventory levels to meet demand and corporate inventory objectives. Work with in-house departments and outsourced partners to ensure that customer service levels are maintained. Develop and maintain metrics to effectively manage the programs. Coordinate with sister companies to identify new ProShop items. Communicate the availability of new ProShop items to the Commercial, Law Enforcement and Consumer Direct departments in order to obtain forecasts for ordering. Coordinate with the Logistics department for the placement of orders. Conduct sales training on ProShop and Firearm accessories, as needed. Regularly monitor sku list for non-performing sku’s to discontinue. Develop and maintain metrics to effectively manage the ProShop program: sales, profit, service level, and related FA skus.
